The free AC Unity companion app gives you everything you need to be successful while playing the game.TikTok is a social media platform that focuses on short videos, which allows you to create and edit your own videos and then easily share them with your best friends and other users around the world. And best of all, the free AC Unity companion app tells you about some of the optional story missions you can tackle, which is a nice bonus. The ability to double-tap certain points in the game screens for additional information about them was another plus. We especially liked how much information we were given about the story, missions, rewards, and enemies thanks to the free AC Unity companion app. This multi-faceted companion app not only looks and sounds great, but it also provides a plethora of useful tools for players to use while playing the Unity games. It's an exciting way to see the world depicted through an ongoing adventure that doesn't just end when one chapter ends. This multi-faceted open-world game allows players to go through the game's various settings, depending on their preferences, and tackle the different challenges each time they return. Along the way, he'll encounter a series of dangerous quests, side quests, and even some hidden object scenes. He winds up in the midst of revolutionary crowds and starts taking a leave of absence from the frontlines to travel around the world and find out who betrayed his family. The story in the Unity games takes place in Paris during the French Revolution where Assassin's Creed's main character, Arno, is called back into action after leaving to recover from an illness. We expect lots of exciting new content to be added as well as a slew of achievements to be earned and it is likely we will see some more Unity additions such as the ability to use dual sticks. Plus the companion app is supposed to provide gamers with some extra guidance when it comes to navigating through the game's many maps and difficulty levels. It will provide AC fans with an opportunity to experience what it feels like to swing an axe and chop down enemies without having to actually get close to them. The free mobile game is designed to add a little more flavor to the popular AC game series. The new Assassin's Creed Unity companion app from the ground-breaking game AC put out byUbisoft is set to be released on tablets like the iPad and iPhone this autumn.

In recent years, great progress has been made in this area with codecs such as. The better a codec can compress the video, the smaller the file size. The codec is also very important for the final file size of a video. How does the codec / file format influence the video size? In the concrete example, a video with 60 fps (frames per second) results in a file size twice as high as a video with 30 fps. The frame rate h as a linear effect on the file size of a video. How does the frame rate (frames per second) influence the size of a video? This means that a video with 4k resolution (3840×2160 pixels) with Full-HD resolution (1920×1080 pixels) takes up approximately four times the file size – because the number of pixels (the product of the resolution) is also four times as high. The resolution has a quadratic effect on the size of a video. The individual aspects are explained in detail below: How does the resolution of a video influence the file size? For example, a video can contain sound for stereo (two channels) or surround sound (4 or more channels) – or even both. the sound of a video) is mainly influenced by the bit rate, the codec and the number of channels. These two aspects mainly concern the video part of a movie. The most decisive factors in the compression of a video are the resolution and the so-called codec. webm.ĭifferent technologies are used to compress a video. The dream starts with Bingo hatching from the Earth as if it was an egg, and although the real-world version of these eggs are revealed to be their beds, this “coming out of her comfort zone” action can be likened to Bingo trying to sleep without her parents’ help. “And then the baby chick hatched out of her egg, and the first thing she saw was her mummy chicken,” are the lines of the chick book that Chilli read to Bingo. Then Chilli leaves, and the lights are off, illuminating the glow in the dark stars in Bingo and Bluey’s room, setting the scene for the zoom into the book transition to her space dream. “You do your best, sweetheart, but remember, I’m always here if you need me.” Chilli, great parent that she is, recognizes the bravery of this task and also reassures her daughter through her struggle with the equally important line: The theme being that Bingo is taking her first steps towards her own independence, her own adulthood, where she doesn’t need to fully rely on her parents with tasks such as getting through the night while riddled with the terrors and separation anxieties that come from being away from your parents in the dark as a small child. “Mum, I want to do a big girl sleep tonight, and wake up in my own bed.” Then one of the main themes of the episode is kicked off with Bingo’s line: After Chilli finishes reading, Bingo immediately notices that her doll Floppy isn’t with her, and Chilli immediately bring it to her, with Floppy going on to be a character of immense importance in Bingo’s journey through her dream. Bingo is fascinated with the concept of space, and her side of the room is adorned with stars to further drive that point home. If you’ve ever been a child, you know that if you’re interested enough in something that you keep it under your pillow to read about it at night, you are VERY interested in that subject. The planets book that Bingo gives Chilli to read isn’t a bedtime story, it might not even be a children’s book at all (slightly foreshadowing the theme of growing up from the stage of being a little kid in the episode). After Chilli finishes with the chick book, Bingo immediately pulls out a book that discusses the planets of the solar system. Even though Bandit was taking care of Bluey and Chilli was taking care of Bingo, Bandit made sure to say “Good night” to Bingo as well, a quick reminder that he was there for her as well. One of the major themes of the episode is why both of these parenting methods are necessary to a child’s development, tying together the series so far where Chilli’s been the parent that mostly uses her words (a standout example being her words to Bluey near the end of Camping), and Bandit’s been the parent that opts to get physically active instead (which immediately proved its worth as Bluey fell asleep instantly).īoth of the books that Chilli reads to Bingo have a massive amount of relevance to the dream that Bingo has, which combines the two concepts of space and motherhood into a single story that Bingo is the main character of. It starts with immediately contrasting Bandit and Chilli’s two parenting styles: Chilli is calmly reading a story to Bingo (using words), while Bandit is physically dragging Bluey to bed (getting active). It’s a great listen when you need something on for noise but they have their own theories occasionally that not everyone may agree with like this one. This episode is 7:30 instead of the usual 7 minutes long, which I greatly respect because not a single moment of this entire episode should be cut. You have to take it with a grain of salt though. They also covered this theory in the sleepy time episode of the podcast. But if it helps others feel acknowledged and validated then great. I mean I can see the symbolism with the planets however I side it’s just because they discuss Mercury before falling asleep and she still needs to be close to Chilli to be comforted from time to time. It’s never been confirmed but since they do everything for a reason many people think it is intention. It could also be just bracing for a Bingo meltdown. It’s one people don’t seem to notice unless they may have had one like so many have, me included and it was my immediate first thought upon viewing. It seems to be plausible theory they way bandit reacts to the balloon popping and reaches for Chili’s hand. I first heard this theory when the Gotta Be Done Podcast covered the episode The Show. Īfter listening to the songs the band had already composed together, Le Bon spent some time fitting one of his poems ("Sound of Thunder") to one of the instrumentals, and found they had a good match. As band legend has it, he turned up for the audition wearing pink leopard-print trousers, and carrying a notebook containing a large collection of poems he had written-several of which would later become tracks on the early Duran Duran studio albums. Le Bon's ex-girlfriend, Fiona Kemp (a bartender at the Rum Runner nightclub where Duran Duran were rehearsing), introduced him to the band in May 1980, recommending him as a potential lead vocalist. The band had a powerful pop sound flavoured with disco, funk, and electronics, built on a solid rock rhythm section, and all they needed was a charismatic singer with a distinctive voice. The band went through a long succession of line-up changes after Duffy's departure, but finally settled on a guitarist and drummer. Lexus representatives said the car would have to deliver on its promises right from the start to exceed customer expectations (GM should have been taking notes). Though very competitively priced, Toyota knew it couldn’t succeed on price alone. They knew with no luxury brand identity in a crowded marketplace, the car would have to be exceedingly competent and the ownership experience the best possible. This was no gussied up Camry (the ES would come a little later) nor even a well-massaged JDM Century or Crown, it was an all-new, no excuses assault on the flagships of the best European luxury car makers. It begins by reviewing Toyota’s strategy for their new luxury division. The excellence of the car comes through organically, in the article and in life. As glowing as the article is, it’s fairly understated, much like the Lexus itself. I don’t personally think that MT was as biased as some people do, but particularly in this era they would not tend to be as biting as Car & Driver and some others could be. That’s saying a lot given that Motor Trend has had a reputation for being, ahem, optimistic in their evaluations. Here commences possibly the most glowing car magazine review I recall ever reading. He writes, “The Lexus people felt they had nothing to hide-rather, a lot to show off. Toyota brought them to Germany, where they were given three days to drive the car, including on the Autobahn, and given comparable models of Mercedes, BMW, and Jaguar to also drive and compare the Lexus to. Motor Trend’s Jeff Karr (heck of a name for an auto writer) tells the story of Lexus’s first hands-on presentation of their new car to journalists. If your product has great quality and value? Then you just sell the product and the people will come along. If a product is not of good quality, there are a hundred tricks to divert attention from that and appeal to instinct, emotion, pride or some other time-tested method of selling people. Like these other fields, marketing can be manipulated. If it doesn’t, obfuscate, intimidate, denigrate, mandate, and definitely don’t show the data. In public affairs, if the data supports your preferred policy, go hard on the data. If it doesn’t, you write the conclusions you want and hope no one looks too closely at the data (which you can also jigger in your favor). In pharmaco/medical scientific studies, if the data supports your hypothesis, you focus on the data. If you’re weak on both, pound the table” (or the opposing counsel or the witness, depending on the version). If you’re weak on the law and strong on the evidence, pound the evidence. There’s a saying among lawyers that goes, “If you’re weak on the evidence and strong on the law, pound the law. In almost any field, if you have something to hide, there are things you can do. So, let’s look at Motor Trend’s first assessment of the soon-to-be-released 1990 LS400 from August 1989. The fact that this is a first year car and apparently one of a very small number still being daily driven made it a subject worth visiting for me, plus a Vintage Review offers some value added for loyal CC readers. I wasn’t sold on writing my car up until I ran across a 1989 article in my archive of Motor Trends and was reminded of what a significant car this was. The LS has been written about before at CC, of course. In that time, I have seen one pretty beat up example driving on the freeway and that’s it. The photos turned out just OK, but I figured, “no matter, another one will surely pop up under better photographic conditions.” Well, after two years I’m starting to doubt that any will come out of hiding for me. “Who was that masked man?” someone was heard to say. Hi Ho Silver! I got out my camera and snapped what shots I could. I made a beeline towards it, but the owner was already getting in the car and starting it up. Two years ago, walking out of Home Depot, my brain radar pinged loudly on a car parked across the lot. I’ll try to answer that question near the end of the article. Mid and late 90’s versions are still pretty common, not so the first version of this fine automobile. I’ve been noticing for a few years that I just haven’t been seeing early LS’s around much anymore. The Lexus LS400 is the sort of car my radar is always on for. There are certain landmark vehicles that us car nuts are naturally aware of. ^ "Build Me Up Buttercup 2003 | full Official Chart History | Official Charts Company".Recording Industry Association of America.

If those conditions are not or cannot be met, then no, the car seat is not safe. Installation instructions are the conditions under which the carseat is safe to use and will protect a kiddo in a crash. If this were a standard carseat and the person hadn't tightened it all the way (less than an inch of wiggle room) would you also call the whole car seat unsafe? Maybe. Like every single car seat, they are safe when used properly. You are not someone who is willing or able to do the extra installation steps for a revolving seat. Installation of any car seat is important, some car seats have different installations than others. But people should at least be aware of the risk.)Īny car seat on the market can be destroyed and fly across the car by minor user error, including the latch/seatbelt thing. I personally would never judge someone who turned their kid as soon as their laws allowed it, although I know people who would. (Note: The FF thing I recognize is a personal choice for some who may not have access to a RF carseat to accommodate a bigger kid, or a car that can be comfortable with RF until the kid is older. For anyone reading this, following safeintheseat on IG is a great way to learn more fairly passively. I'm sure people not in car seat groups also dont know about whether they can borrow lower anchor connectors from the middle seat too, but all this is basic parts of learning how to install a car seat. Lots of people also think all winter coats can be worn in car seats without compromising safety, or that turning forward facing at 1-2 years old is the safest thing. The majority of people that aren’t in carseat groups think latch+ seatbelt is the safest. But making sure the seat is locked isn't more onerous than making sure your kid is buckled securely, the chest clip is in the right place, etc. Rotating car seats add an extra level of set up for sure. I know with my child’s seat, it’s said to not put adult weight on the seat because it could result in it being over tightened. & that means making sure it’s tightly secured, but not too tight. The car seat has to be attached to the seat properly as well. The belt catches them and (in a bad one) the seat they’re sitting in usually leans forward ever so slightly.Īll in all, my assumption is that using both would hold the seat too tight, and an accident would result in there being too much instant pressure put on the seat, causing it to break instead of bend.ĮTA: When we buckle our kids in the seat, we buckle them in tight because the car seat is used to protect them in the event of an accident. When adults are in accidents, they generally jerk forward on impact. Almost like there wouldn’t be enough “give” to help counterbalance or lessen the impact, on the child specifically, from the accident. I’m no expert on anything regarding car seats, but my assumption is that using the latch and the belt would cause too much restriction in the event of an accident.
